ACES (Association of Civil Engineering Saintgits)

The Civil Association has been the pride of the department since its inception in 2006. The first grand programme organized by ACES was SPROUT-06. The association has been instrumental in providing the students an exposure to recent advancements in the area of civil engineering. It also provides the students with an opportunity to interact with the industry.

SPROUT-06

The grand technical extravaganza organized by the Association of Civil Engineering, SAINTGITS- SPROUT-06 witnessed reality after long cherished dreams on August 2006. The program was inaugurated by Shri. Sivaraja vijayan, IAS. The events included in the festival were technical paper presentation, technical quiz competition, cad drawing contest etc. The event received wide acclaim and immense response from students of engineering colleges across and outside the state. Various areas pertaining to Structural engineering, Geotechnical engineering, Environmental engineering, Water Resources engineering etc. were dealt with.
