PHASE (Professionally High tech Association of SAINTGITS Electricals)

The Department of Electrical and Electronics has formed  the Association 'PHASE' (Professionally High Tech Association of SAINTGITS Electricals) with an aim to make students aware of the latest developments in the engineering fields, as well as to provide a platform where young minds come together to share their knowledge and widen the horizon of their own technical outlook. The Association was established on June 2005 and has been active in motivating and inspiring young minds ever since.

As part of the association activity the department has been organizing various events every year. The main event 'DYUTHI' which is an inter-collegiate technical competition is been hosted by EEE Department at SAINTGITS Campus every year since 2007. The main events include Project presentation, Paper Presentation, Quiz, Circuit Debugging, Best Manager and so on.Phase also conducts seminars and brings in eminent people to interact with students to inspire them and widen their knowledge

Inauguration of Activities of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Association "PHASE" for the period 2011-12

Electrical and Electronics Engineering association "PHASE 2011" was inaugurated on 21st July 2011 at 3 pm in the cultural centre by Sri.Simon A Akkara, Joint Director, Regional IT unit, Ernakulam, KSEB.Our principal Dr. M.C Philipose presided over the function

All B.Tech EEE and M.Tech power system students and all teaching and non teaching staff of the Electrical department as well as faculty from other departments attended the function.

The inauguration of "PHASE 2011" was followed by a technical talk "Power utility operation: An overview" by the chief guest.

In this talk, he gave an overview of different aspects of generation, transmission and distribution. He also described the recent trends in power utility and system operation. The talk was followed by an interactive session. Meeting comes to an end by 4:40 pm
