ISTE Saintgits Chapter

ISTE, the premier national professional society of engineering educators, educational administrators and those interested in technical education is in existence since 1976 with the objective of advancing the cause of technological education. Apart from the specific activity of enhancing professional ideas and standards of technical education and fostering research as a function complimentary to teaching, the ISTE strives to cultivate a fraternal sprit among teachers working in technical institutions, administrators, engineers, practitioners and industrialists. The major activities of ISTE include curriculum upgrading, summer schools for engineering teachers & practicing engineers and continuing education for working professionals in selected areas.

The college based ISTE chapter was in the forefront with its activities since its inception in 2004. The chapter has to its credit, many seminars, workshops and conferences during the past 6 years. A student chapter of ISTE is also efficiently functioning in the campus organizing various technical and non-technical symposiums, All India Project exhibitions etc. The Student Chapter hosted the 2007 Kerala State Student Convention during October.
